Premature and Special Needs Babies

Becoming a new parent can be a daunting prospect and when things don’t quite follow the normal route that was envisaged, parents can find the time even more challenging. Elaine is able to teach Baby Massage for Premature and Special Needs Babies – whatever you situation, in hospital or now at home she can  help and support you to find special moments, develop your confidence to touch, relax and bond with your new baby.

Baby Massage, and its positive touch, is an important form of communication which has many health benefits for all babies – whether the babies are healthy full term or if they have a special need. Alongside these health benefits, Baby Massage promotes love, understanding and attachment between parent and baby. It will also encourage you to take a moment out of a potentially busier and emotional schedule to bond and relax with your baby.

We can meet your family’s needs by either personalising the teaching within one of my scheduled group classes  or, if you would prefer, in one-to-one baby massage sessions in you own home.

We are experienced and cater for all conditions that include: preterm and sick neonates, illness and conditions that may be life limiting or life threatening and any other special situation. Please see below for some of the conditions …

If you would like to discuss your needs further please do feel free to email or call us – we’d love to hear from you! xxx
